Meet The Engineers
Meet the Engineers is a reverse career fair for School of Engineering students at the University of St. Thomas that over 80 companies from a variety of industries attend annually in order to find interns and future employees. Instead of the employers being at the booths, this career fair is in reverse - the students are stationed at tables, and employers come to them. Potential employers sign up in advance so they are able to look at students’ resumes online before they attend. This gives employers the ability to seek out the skill sets they are looking for and cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. The students advertise their work experience, skills and accomplishments and wait for the employers to come to them.
