Scholarships can change lives

We are building something truly special here in Minnesota! And we are grateful for the generosity of our alumni and friends who have supported our goals with their time and talents. To continue our work, we invite you to explore giving to the funds listed below.

Gifts can be given now or become a sustainer and give monthly. Please check with your employers to see if they match employee contributions to charitable organizations. We are grateful for any amount of support.

Give to our funds

You can give online to any of the fund or scholarship designations listed below. Online giving is a convenient way to make a gift of any designation.

To learn more about ways to give or for a more detailed description of the activities supported by these funds, please contact Dr. Don Weinkauf, Dean of the School of Engineering at dhweinkauf@stthomas.edu or (651) 962-5760.

The University of St. Thomas School of Engineering will offer the Engineering Board of Governors Summit Scholarship – a $10,000 scholarship to a first-time, first-year student who has excelled both inside and outside the classroom while in high school and intends to pursue a degree in engineering. Making a gift to this fund will be used to support these students in their pursuit of an engineering career!

MAKE A GIFT.

Our engineering and software students are active in a broad range of activities, from cutting-edge research to national student competitions. The Engineering Student Excellence Fund helps to ensure that they have the right equipment and resources to make the most of their experience at St. Thomas and develop the skills necessary for success in the future.

MAKE A GIFT.

The Peace Engineering Fund has enabled engineering students to work with entrepreneurial communities in the developing world. And together with the people of these communities, St Thomas students use their engineering skills to create sustainable food, water and energy technology solutions to create a more peaceful and just world.

MAKE A GIFT.

Engineering education provides teachers and to-be-teachers with an engaging, authentic integrated STEM knowledge base with a focus on engineering education. The capacity to accelerate every learner’s capabilities, interest and identity in STEM education is filled when educators have the financial support needed.

MAKE A GIFT.

Not sure where to direct your gift? Give to the School of Engineering General Fund and have our Dean direct your gift to an area it is needed the most.
