Scholarship Opportunities

Transfer students may qualify for up to $30,000 in University of St. Thomas merit-based scholarships per year. In addition, admitted engineering transfer students are automatically considered for privately funded Summit Engineering Scholarships with annual awards up to $10,000. Students who are within three years of graduation can also apply for the APEX Scholarship. The APEX Engineering Scholarship Program is a program designed to specifically support your unique circumstances as a transfer student:

  • APEX scholars receive one-on-one faculty mentoring, peer support and tutoring, career counseling, and specialized networking opportunities.
  • Annual award of up to $10,000.
  • Can be combined with other St. Thomas scholarships and federal aid.
  • Each scholarship is renewable for up to two more years to support the final years of study.

Transfer Credits

Planning ahead can save you money. Contact us now, and our transfer coordinator, Dr. Jenny Holte will guide you in choosing courses so your community college credits are sure to transfer. You do not need to apply to receive transfer advising.

    Transfer Scholarships

    All admitted transfer students are automatically considered for University of St. Thomas' Transfer Student Scholarships, including the Summit Engineering Scholarships.     Admitted students for Fall 2023 will also be able to apply for the APEX Engineering Scholarship Program which include annual awards of up to $10,000. Learn more about the APEX Engineering Scholarship Program and apply online.
