  • Research Interests
  • Engineering Education, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, Engineering Design, Academic and Industrial Collaboration, Manufacture and Applications of Surface Textures

Prior to joining the University of St. Thomas in 2015, Tiffany worked for Honeywell Aerospace. She managed numerous projects from small scale product design through manufacturing line conversions and large corporate initiatives. As a Lead Senior Process Engineer at Honeywell, Tiffany led a team of engineers in continuously improving and supporting the supply chain and process flow of pressure sensor manufacturing lines.

Tiffany's doctoral research at Northwestern University focused on investigation of novel fabrication processes for generating micro-scale surface textures. Tiffany studied the effects of textured surfaces for numerous applications, including: reduced friction and wear properties, modification of de-icing and hydrophobic properties, and improved biological attachment. She spent much of her dissertation work on projects directly interfacing with industrial sponsors such as Boeing and Ford, for which she was awarded multiple patents.
