Summit Engineering Scholarships

Summit Engineering Scholarship Program

The Summit Engineering Scholarship Program provides up to $10,000 per year for academically talented transfer students from U.S. two-year colleges who have unmet financial need and wish to pursue an engineering degree at St. Thomas. These scholarships are funded by 3M, Xcel Energy and multiple private donors with a common goal of increasing opportunities for low-income, under-represented, and first-generation college students as part of their vision for a more diverse community of future engineers to fuel innovation in the Twin Cities metro area.

Undergraduate students who have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have listed engineering as their intended major upon admission will automatically be considered for the Summit Scholarship based on when they completed their University of St. Thomas application for admission. International students, who are not eligible to complete the FAFSA, may be asked to provide additional information to determine their financial need.
