Kristy Simmons is the Vice President of Quality and Integration PMO at Medtronic’s Cardiac Ablation Solutions Business. She leads all Quality activities for the function with responsibilities spanning pre and post market reliability, safety, compliance, quality systems, and service. She drives quality strategy, planning, budgeting, and oversight to a global team of employees.
Kristy has 21+years at Medtronic and over 24 years of experience in the Medical Device Industry. Kristy held previous positions in the functional areas of sales, clinical research, quality, R&D, and regulatory affairs at Medtronic, Empi Medical and MinRad Inc. Kristy has a master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems from the University of Saint Thomas and a Bachelor’s in Biology from Saint Norbert College.
She is a member of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS) and has obtained the Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC).
