Shree Pandey is a Microgrid Engineer at the University of St. Thomas Center for Microgrid Research. He joined St. Thomas in January 2022 and oversees the day-to-day operation of the Center. Additionally, he assists the researchers and students with implementing and testing research topics and scenarios in the high power/high voltage equipment.
Before joining the Center, Shree worked as Electrical Engineer, Master Electrician and Head of Field Operations in a Twin Cities based rooftop solar developer and installer. There, he ensured the megawatt scale rooftop solar PV installation was done according to the equipment manufacturer's specifications as well as national and local codes.
Shree is an EIT and has a Master Electrician license from the State of Minnesota. His interests include energy resiliency, energy independence, and renewable energy.
When schedules allow, Shree likes to explore Minnesota’s various State Parks and natural areas through biking, hiking, and camping.
