Graduate Engineering and the University of St. Thomas welcome applications from international students.
We are proud to have a culturally diverse student body representing nations from all across the globe. International students represent just over 10% percent of the Graduate Programs in Engineering student body.
We encourage all international students who live outside of the United States to apply at least four months prior to the start of the term in which you desire entry.
As soon as you start an application, please work to request all official transcripts from each college/ university you've attended.
If you have completed coursework or a degree at an institution WITHIN the United States, contact the Registrar's office of each U.S. college or university you've attended and request the direct delivery of your official transcripts to our graduate admissions office. Official transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution's Registrar office to the University of St. Thomas.
If you have completed coursework or a degree at an institution OUTSIDE the United States, you are required to obtain a complete course-by-course transcript evaluation. We recommend transcript evaluations fromEducational Credential Evaluators (ECE)orWorld Education Services (WES). This evaluation must be delivered directly to St. Thomas by the evaluation service company. A simple summary evaluation of the institution is not acceptable. Evaluations must include grades received in every course taken and cumulative GPA calculated on a 4.0 scale.
Official transcripts/ evaluations must be delivered electronically (in a secure PDF) to gradadmissions@stthomas.edu or must be delivered via mail (in a sealed envelope) to:
