The University of St. Thomas School of Engineering will offer one $10,000 scholarship to an entering first-time, first-year student who has excelled both inside and outside the classroom while in high school and intends to pursue a degree in engineering starting in fall 2026. This award is renewable for three more years for a total of $40,000.
All applicants are also considered for a Freshman Research Fellows Grant, which provides $7,200 for high-potential students to collaborate with an Engineering faculty member on a research project in the summer after their first year. University of St Thomas undergraduate researchers are paid, prepared for internships in industry, and introduced to the wonders of hypothesis-driven academic research.
